Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Farm Fresh Meat Shops, we are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality meat and fish products to our customers. Due to the perishable nature of our products, this Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, replacements, or cancellations may apply.
By placing an order through our website or WhatsApp platform, you agree to this policy.
1. Order Cancellations
Before Order Processing
Orders may be cancelled only before processing begins.
- Once an order has been confirmed and processing has started, it cannot be cancelled.
- Orders involving live catfish or specially prepared cuts may be processed immediately and are therefore not eligible for cancellation.

2. Refund Eligibility
Because our products are perishable, refunds are handled strictly under the following conditions:
Eligible for Refund or Replacement
A refund or replacement may be issued if:
- The wrong item was delivered
- The quantity delivered was incorrect
- The product arrived spoiled or damaged
- The product does not meet basic freshness standards at the time of delivery
Reporting Timeframe
All issues must be reported within 2 hours of delivery, supported by:
- Clear photos or videos of the product
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Reports made after this timeframe may not be accepted.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for refund or return:
- Products that have been consumed, partially used, or improperly stored
- Products affected by delayed pickup or customer unavailability
- Live catfish once delivered or collected
- Orders where no evidence of defect or damage is provided
4. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed using:
- The original payment method (Mobile Money, Card), or
- Store credit (at our discretion)
Refund processing may take 3–7 business days, depending on the payment provider.
5. Delivery & Handling Responsibility
Once an order has been delivered or collected:
- Responsibility for proper storage (refrigeration or freezing) transfers to the customer
- Farm Fresh Meat Shops will not be liable for spoilage caused by improper handling or storage after delivery
6. Failed or Missed Deliveries
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect address
- Unreachable customer
- Customer unavailability
The order may be cancelled or rescheduled, and additional delivery charges may apply.
Refunds may not be granted in such cases.
7. Wholesale & Bulk Orders
Wholesale and bulk orders are handled under separate terms and may:
- Require advance payment
- Be non-refundable once processing begins
Specific terms will be communicated before order confirmation.
8. Policy Enforcement
Farm Fresh Meat Shops reserves the right to:
- Decline refund requests that do not meet this policy
- Investigate claims before approval
- Update this policy at any time without prior notice
